As of March 31, 2025, the BC Conservation & Biodiversity Awards Foundation endowment totaled $2.96 million, generating annual award distributions exceeding $300,000. The awards are uniquely initiated through purely grass roots private philanthropy. As the endowment increases in size through future donations, future awards will also be increased. Less than 2% of the BCCB Awards Foundation’s assets, including all donations, are allocated to overhead/administrative costs. This means that over 98% of the Foundation’s assets and donations are dedicated to financing conservation projects in BC.
